NURSING SERVICES

There are 6 resident units to meet the functional needs of our residents. Assistance with daily living functions, medication administration, and medical treatments are provided 24 hours a day by certified registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants.  Each resident's care is directed by an RN, Unit Manager.

LEVEL OF SERVICE

Skilled Nursing Level (SNF) provides services for those residents requiring advanced technological services such as intravenous therapy; complex services such as wound care; or patient teaching to return home.  SNF is a Medicare certified program, paying 100% for the first 20 days and a portion of the bill for the succeeding 80 days per benefit period.

Intermediate Care (ICF) provides basic living services as well as providing medical care.

Special Needs Unit (A1) provides a secure environment for people with Alzheimer's and dementia who need a structured and caring environment.

Enhanced Living Unit (ELU) provides a flexible therapeutic environment for those with behavior that may affect their well-being or the well-being of others. Individualized care plans are developed to meet behavior and physical needs.
